Wild Living Foods Downtown LA

img_6824Clean eating is a huge trend in other areas of Los Angeles such as West Hollywood. If you look around Downtown Los Angeles, there are not many juice bars, vegan, or raw food bars around. People tend to eat out of convenience and what is in their area. Because of this, Wild Living Foods is a huge asset to Downtown Los Angeles. It is here for provide a place where vegan options are available. Wild Living Foods Downtown LA provides an awareness for health, which is greatly missing in Downtown Los Angeles.

img_6856rt“Food is Spirit” is the perfect way to describe how food travels in your body. As most would say, you are what you eat. When you start introducing non-GMO, organic, gluten-free, and plant-based foods to your body, you will start seeing and feeling a change mentally and physically.

As I walked in, an air of positivity and happiness immediately struck me. The interior was beautiful. The colorful tiles, lively mural work, marble counter, wooden table & chairs all blended together and gave the place a comforting and openhearted atmosphere.

It has absolutely everything you could want that is plant-based and raw.

They have their version of a Pad Thai, tacos, wraps, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, and even sushi. There is also a salad bar, ice cream, juices, elixir-tonic teas, and smoothies. And, the list goes on.img_6859rt img_6904rtimg_6829

I decided to try one of their crowd favorites, the Chile Relleno.

Chile Relleno~ Green Anaheim Chile stuffed with Cashew Cheese, southwest taco crumble, guacamole cilantro & red onion in a sun-dried tomato coconut wrap, topped with enchilada sauce and sour cream.

I felt like I was eating an actual burrito, but the whole thing was made of vegetables and stuffed with cashew cheese! It was such a burst of flavor and an amazing experience. The presentation was beautiful as well.

I finished off my meal with a dessert smoothie (all dairy free) called Molly Berry.

Molly Berry Smoothie

This was hands down one of the best smoothies I’ve ever had. The combination of strawberries, sweet cream, and cashew almond milk was ideal. It was not too sweet or overpowering. The homemade granola also helped give it that crunchy texture, which balanced the thick consistency of the smoothie.

If you’re new to vegan food, or just curious to have a taste, I definitely encourage a visit to Wild Living Foods! 🙂
