Shamrock ‘N’ Roll Aboard the Queen Mary
March 14 7:00 pm - March 15 7:00 pm$30
Climb aboard the legendary Queen Mary and ring in St. Patrick’s Day early! Shamrock ‘n’ Roll through two of the ship’s iconic salons on Saturday, March 14 at 7 p.m. while celebrating the revelry, the tradition, and the spirit of Ireland with a rocking party unlike any other.
Shamrock ‘n’ Roll features top entertainment for music lovers of many genres, including 70’s and 80’s soft rock, Ska, punk, folk, bluegrass, soul, and of course, Irish rock. Get ready for an unforgettable night of live music with four headlining bands: Yachtley Crew, Hoist the Colors, The Untouchables, and Dirty Old Town.
Yachtley Crew will perform some of the most adored songs from the late 70’s and early 80’s – timeless hits and power ballads by Christopher Cross, Hall & Oates, Toto, and more – as they blow the crowd away with their on-stage antics, entertaining choreography, and thematic nautical attire. Some fans may know this sound as “soft rock”, while others identify it as “yacht rock.” Yachtley Crew puts on a one-of-a- kind show and inspires crowds of all ages to rediscover this era in music.
Hoist the Colors will electrify the stage by performing a blend of punk rock, traditional Irish music, Americana, and bluegrass. Their original sound is as eclectic as their hometown of Los Angeles, and resonates with fans of Flogging Molly, Mumford and Sons, and Bad Religion.
The lineup also features beloved band The Untouchables, credited with championing the soul/mod revival scene in LA in the early 80’s. Also known as America’s first Ska band, The Untouchables bring commanding sets and have performed with the B-52’s, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and No Doubt.
Dirty Old Town is sure to get the ship rockin’ with an Irish and punk tribute to The Pogues. The band will have dazzled guests singing classic hits “Dirty Old Town” and “Fairytale of New York” with merriment throughout the ship all night long.
Before and between all the bands, pull yer socks up and grab some Irish fare, pints, and wee buckets at the multiple bars stationed throughout the event.
