BRIDGE FROM CHINATOWN TO LA HISTORIC PARK
Curbed Reports that a study is underway to bring a long-desired link between Chinatown and the northern side of the park. It proposes adding a pedestrian bridge in one of four locations.

TIMES SQUARE TOWERS TO BREAK GROUND LATE 2021
As reported by Urbanize, Onni’s Time Square project will break ground next year. The mixed-use complex will be located at the former headquarters of the Los Angeles Times.
GOVERNOR SIGNS RENT CONTROL INTO LAW
As reported by The Real Deal, Governor. Gavin Newsom signed rent control into law last week. Assembly Bill 1482 sets rent caps and implements “just cause” eviction rules.
CITIZEN M HOTEL GOES VERTICAL
As reported by Urbanize, the Citizen M Hotel has begun vertical construction. The 11-story development is scheduled to open in the second half of 2020.
