Nerf Challenge

Nerf Challenge features off-the-wall experiences playfully designed to test your focus, dexterity, and skill across multiple play styles. Fans can also test their speed and accuracy in specially designed activations utilizing NERF’s iconic blasters and sports products.

ULO Presents: Cyber Spirits

Cyber Spirits is an interactive art experience that explores the presence of spirit in our digital devices. Meander through a dreamy, surrealist, comedic living art piece…

Cyber Spirits will leave you with ULO’s signature lightning bolt feeling – in this case a combination of curiosity, strangeness, and comedic joy. The magic and immersion of the experience is made possible by the technical wizardry behind it – a unique hardware-software blend of CRT monitors, video art, projection, custom physical installations, and speech synthesis.

Smorgasburg L.A. Hecho in LA Holiday Market

Smorgasburg’s Holiday Market series continues this weekend with Hecho in LA!
Featuring “Made in L.A.” Latinx pop-ups in the shopping aisle. Live Oaxacan band, Banda Filarmónica Maqueos Music from noon – 2 pm. A book sale and signing by Bricia Lopez (I Love Micheladas / La Guelaguetza) of her new Oaxaca Cookbook.
All of this, plus world-renowned burger expert George Motz returns to pop up inside the Love Hour tent as a guest smasher!

The Rock and Roll Flea Market

Free || Dec 14 || The Regent

The Rock and Roll Flea Market features 40 rotating vinyl, vintage, food and craft vendors. Two fully stocked bars, huge food menus, and bottomless mimosas will be available all day. Top DJ’s will be spinning some of the best tunes. There will be games on hand and prizes for all winners.

This is a kid-friendly and dog-friendly event.

ThriftCon LA

$5 – $20 || Dec 15 || LA Convention Center

ThriftCon is the world’s PREMIER vintage clothing and collectible convention. Coming to the heart of Los Angeles at the LA Convention Center, ThriftCon is a vintage collectors’ dream. With at least 100 vendors, ThriftCon will feature thousands of products ranging from valuable, vintage Men’s and Women’s clothing to classic, vintage collectibles and home goods to add to your collection. 35mm Screening of Gone With The Wind

$10 – $25 || Dec 15 || The Palace Theater

As a part of their Golden Year of film series, Secret Movie Club is screening Gone With The Wind as it was played originally in 1939. Complete with intro music and an intermission, this is a rare chance to experience a movie as audiences wexperienced it during Hollywood’s golden year.

Punk Rock and Paintbrushes Holiday Art Show

$9 || Dec 21 & 22 || Self Help Graphics and Art

The 4th annual Holiday “Punk Rock & Paintbrushes” art celebration is coming to Los Angeles on December 21. This year’s event will include over 20 artists contributing to hand-made work. Notable musicians, skaters and many more will be showcasing their artistic ability in unique ways.

Two large and beautiful gallery spaces will be used to show art, and also a huge exterior space for exciting happenings throughout the night.

Dita Von Teese New Years Gala Show

Ring in the New Year with the queen of burlesque, Dita Von Teese.

She is the biggest name in burlesque since Gypsy Rose Lee. She is a modern-day fashion icon who tops best- dressed lists all over the world. She is credited for bringing back the glamour and allure of Old Hollywood stars. Self-created. Distinctive. Iconic. Often imitated, never duplicated. She is Dita Von Teese.

Grand Park + The Music Center NYELA

Free || Dec 31 || Grand Park

For the eighth year, Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A. will be the go-to central gathering place in Los Angeles as the West Coast’s flagship New Year’s celebration! Free for all ages and expanded to include The Music Center Plaza, this unique civic event brings together Angelenos and visitors from around the globe to usher in 2020 at L.A.’s biggest music and dance party. Starring L.A.’s best DJs and bands, Grand Park + The Music Center’s N.Y.E.L.A. will also feature its signature 3-D video projection and light show on the side of the iconic City Hall with pyrotechnics to ring in the New Year.
