As a premier media company, our mission is to celebrate and amplify
the vibrant pulse of DTLA; fostering a sense of unity and shared identity among its residents and visitors.

Meet Happening in DTLA's Team:

Dino Buiatti

CEO/Principal

Dino is a true Los Angeles native, born in Hollywood and spending countless summer days at the beaches of Southern California. After being sent to work in New York, he quickly fell in love with the city’s energy, making it his home. This passion for urban life eventually led him across the Atlantic to London, where he embarked on new adventures.

Dino later returned to Los Angeles, drawn to the vibrant pulse of Downtown. He aims to capture the essence of the world-class cities he has experienced. Downtown holds a special place in his heart, as it marks the beginning of his family's journey to the United States. It was here that his parents, arriving from Colombia and Argentina, took their first steps toward building a new life, working tirelessly in the city center.

This blend of his love for urban settings and his family’s story inspires him to create Happening in DTLA, helping to connect the city and restore the vibrancy his parents witnessed upon their arrival.
