A downtown Los Angeles warehouse erupted in gunfire Sunday morning, leaving six people injured.

LAPD arrived on the scene of the 100 block of E. 11th Street at around 1:15 a.m. to find multiple people fighting, one of whom was armed and had shot several people.

Three women and two men were taken to the hospital, one of them in critical condition.

Officers are searching for the suspected shooter. The gathering was described by police as an “underground party.”

Just a day earlier, police were called to 833 S. Spring Street, about a mile away from Sunday’s shooting, to a crowd gathered at another party where a fight broke out. Shots were fired at the crowd.
