Remember when a long day ended with a nice, warm, savory home cooked meal by mom? Every single bite tasting so good, and filled with love. Fast forward to present time, and we’re all preoccupied with the challenges of “adulting.” We simply don’t have the time to enjoy the nostalgic and heartwarming meals that mom used to make. Fortunately, that’s where Yo Mama LA comes in. A unique pop-up dining experience featuring real-life mommy chefs eager to share their culinary skills for the first annual Yo Mama Pop-Up Brunch at The Great Company on Sunday, November 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Get ready to titillate the palate with delectable homemade meals prepared by: Mama Saeng, Mama Puerotllano, and Mama Park. All three mama’s come from vastly different ethnic backgrounds (Laotian, Korean, and Filipino). This first annual pop-up give them the opportunity to share recipes passed down from generation to generation. When it comes to the kitchen, these mama’s are no stranger. Dining Options

There are two types of dining experiences: 1) VIP Presale, and 2) First Come, First Served. $40 get a VIP that includes a three course meal, and complimentary open beer bar provided by Tsingtao. Don’t want to buy a ticket? Then attend First Come, First Served, admission is free (in the first come, first served model), with one complimentary beer provided by Tsingtao, an food available a la carte.
