Gather your friends because First Fridays is rapidly approaching! Now you can get your DJ and dinosaurs on the first Friday of every month. KCRW will host an evening of music as they allow visitors of all ages to stay late for a night out at the Natural History Museum. Each month offers a different lineup of musical guests, DJ’s, scientist-lead tours and guided museum tours.

Jump start your summer vibes with Sunday Sessions at Grand Park. This all ages season-wide tribute to LA’s house music scene in the park is an afternoon treat fit for all ages.

LA Food Fest, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
Foodies unite and get your stretchy pants ready because LA Food Fest is back for one day only. LA’s favorite food tasting event returns with more world class award winning top chefs, restaurants, street eats, out of town headliners plus more. Sample signature bites from a curated selection of 100+ food vendors and enjoy drinks in the craft beer garden, craft cocktail bar, or iced coffee lounge. There’s also a tequila tasting if tequila’s your thing. Everyone’s favorite ice cream social returns as well. One ticket will give you access to eat and drink to your hearts content (F YES).

The Goddess Project; Au Lac
Watch what happens when two filmmakers pack up their lives into a school bus and embark on the most transformative adventure of their lives. Determined to empower the feminine voice, The Goddess Project displays the collective experience that women in the United State face today. Through powerful conversations with over 100 women. This screening is free and will take place at Bar Fedora located in the back of Au Lac DTLA.

Last Remaining Seats; Orpheum Theatre
Grab your ticket and get ready for the Last Remaining Seats presented by The L.A. Conservancy. Watch classics like Jaws, E.T. and Wings. These crowd pleasers will be screened across Downtown’s grand old movie palaces throughout the month of June and will include a special introduction plus Q&A.

Los Angeles Design Festival; Fashion District
Celebrate LA’s outstanding design culture at the LA Design Festival. Tours, exhibition panels and parties will be staged all over the city at this annual design fest. Highlights include home tours and an opening night bash in the Fashion District along with a furniture show.

Pop Up Magazine; The Theatre At Ace Hotel
See never-before seen or heard multimedia stories performed on stage by writers, filmmakers, radio producers, photographers, and musicians. Pop-Up Magazine brings together the best kinds of creatives and puts them onstage to share and discuss their work. All pieces performed at the show are original, new and unpublished. They’re either created for the event or as part of a larger ongoing project. This means you get to have a first look at work from some of the biggest names in fiction, film, photography and more. This is a once and a lifetime creative experience. Nothing is going to be recorded (unless you use Snapchat or Instagram stories).
