Red Bull Soapbox Race; Angels Point Road In Elysian Park
Hang on to your imaginary OMG bar as you watch LA’s most innovative and creative teams race each other against the clock in a downhill race. This exclusive non-motorized racing event challenges both amateur and experienced racers alike to design and build outrageous, human-powered soapbox dream machines and compete down the twists-and-turns of Angels Point Road In Elysian Park. My heart is already racing thinking about it.

Sundance NEXT Fest; Theatre At The Ace Hotel
Watch some of the most buzzed about movies and short films at Sundance NEXT FEST. Proceedings include a 25th anniversary screening of Quentin Tarantino’s landmark film Reservoir Dogs and an in-person presentation of Sundance Institute’s Vanguard Leadership Award to both Tarantino and Dee Rees. Live renowned and up-and-coming acts like Lizzo will be paired with each feature. Next door, there will be free food, drinks, snacks, and games happening throughout the night (for when you need a breather).
