As a photographer, there’s a certain spark of excitement that hits after capturing a photo that you can tell is going to be epic once edited and published. For myself, that spark is amplified 1000x when I find a new symmetry spot in my own city.
For as long as I can remember, I have always been a huge fan of symmetrical work. Simply because each location is unique and just so aesthetically appealing. I am currently making plans to one day travel the world and see famous symmetrical spots every where from the museum of contemporary art in Chicago, to the Vatican in Rome.
There’s something about a vanishing point and spiral staircases that I can not get enough of. It’s because of this, that I’m always on the look up for new perspectives on old locations and have made it one of my goals to find every spiral staircase, lit up hallway and vanishing parking structure in DTLA.
