Imagine you’re on a bicycle. Each spin of the wheel, excelling forward and pushing ahead. Focusing on your breathing, feeling the air move in and out. Breathing in the good, breathing out the bad. Letting go of what no longer serves you, allowing your body to breakthrough whatever’s holding you back. Open heart, open mind. Finding balance and peace through perspiration. Recharging your spirit and uplifting your mind. Now push, push, and push. These are thoughts that came into play as I propelled my way through my very first cycling class at Sanctuary Fitness. Downtown LA’s newest group fitness studio in the Arts District.
Sanctuary Fitness is super new to the scene. From an outsider’s perspective looking in, they appear very seasoned, as if they have been around for awhile. When in fact they’re a local startup that have only been open for a little over a month. Their staff is very friendly and instructors very helpful. This is a space where they’ll physically challenge you and ask you to leave all judgement at the door. That way you can focus on how you feel, because there are no limits, but there are a lot of challenges. Each challenge comes in two forms: Indoor Cycling or HIIT Workout.
Get ready for 45-minutes of pure bliss. That will get your heart pumping and blood flowing. Releasing those happy endorphin’s. Leaving your body feeling stronger and sexier. The experience will clear your mind and leave you feeling like you can take on any obstacle that comes your way.
A unique strength focused, high intensity interval training classes that’s geared to engage the entire body, and will have you pushing harder than you ever imagined. On a personal note, I’m not one to sign up for studio memberships. However, after experiencing such an invigorating workout with such an amazing team and supportive community. I will be back for more. I believe that I have found my safe haven, or at least workout heaven. Lastly, they say the sky’s the limit, but in reality, there are no limits, you are the only limit. The choices you make today define who you are, and what you will become. So choose wisely. To find out more information on Sanctuary Fitness visit their website or follow them on Instagram.
