Laid-back hangout for Mexican comfort foods with global beers, wine & outdoor seating.

The branches of this Westside mini-chain are joined by a new outlet in an off-the-beaten-path DTLA Arts District warehouse, where lots of beers accompany down-home Mexican chow. The crowd is artsy and kind of Brooklyn-ish, underdressed and loose in a space that’s filled with echoes and loud music. -Zagat

The space sits between 2nd and 3rd along the remnants of an old rail line, filling the tall, airy brick room with long tables and some marble countertop in the back. There’s a raw bar for ceviches, crudos and oysters, plus fish tacos, salads and a ribeye steak, among others, though beer is obviously a focus and a full bar is forthcoming. -LA Eater
