Light Up LA

Playing with Light in DTLA

For the last five years I have been cultivating and perfecting a light technique similar to light painting but using the lights already provided by the urban habitat we live in. At first the lights moved across the frame without purpose until I discovered a method that would allow me to draw with the lights in camera creating a more synchronistic and intentional image. The streets were my canvas and the city lights my paintbrushes. To see more of the series ‘Light Up LA’ check out my website: www.RaquelNatalicchio.com
